James & Elaine Reese Legacy Scholarship
The James and Elaine Reese Legacy Scholarship is named after our founder's parents to honor their commitment to education and social justice. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a social work student who is a full member of the CBSW and demonstrates academic excellence, service to the community, and leadership potential.
For 2024, we will give away two $500 scholarships!
Deadline: 12/8/23
Winners will be announced at the Celebration of Black Excellence on Feb. 29, 2024.
Timeline
Applications open: Tuesday, October 31, 2023
Application deadline : December 8, 2023.
Finalists notified: January 10
Interviews take place: January 25 (Time in the evening: TBA) via zoom
